When the Pomodoro rings, put a checkmark on a piece of paper.

Once you’ve completed four pomodoros, you can take a longer break. Reward yourself with a 20 to 30 minutes break.

All the money in the world can’t buy you health. So you need to be more conscious of your mental and physical health. This means taking care of your body and mind through certain actions, like drinking enough water, joining a yoga class, or working out.

For example, don't accept a job offer just because it pays well, give thought to the working environment. If it's toxic, you'll need to deal with stress and anxiety that will tax your health heavily in the long run.

The reason you need to tidy up before you get to bed is very simple – you can end the day with a sense of accomplishment. The next morning, you’ll even find yourself smiling at a tidy home, your home.

After spending hours finishing all your tasks, I hope you take the time to reflect on your time throughout the day. Contemplate all the things you did right and celebrate every small success. You can do this by jotting things down in a Moleskine notebook, a gratitude journal, or on your mobile phone application. And don’t forget to pat yourself on the back for doing such a great job.

Clean your mind from the cluttered thoughts that fill your head during the day by pouring them into your daily journal. Without enough rest, about 7-9 hours of sleep per night, not only will you experience burnout, but you will keep working slower and slower. To get a good night's sleep, your room should not be hot. It’s better to be a little bit cold - usually between 60-65 °F (15-18 °C), and turn off the light. Make the room dark, or wear an eye mask for sleeping. Allocate roughly eight hours of sleep and set an alarm to wake you up the next morning.

Sometimes, it feels easier to get out of your bed in the morning and crash back into it after a tiring day. But here's the thing about routines and habits, the more you do them many days in a row, the easier they become. So try your best to stick with them.
You may find it boring at first, but you will see how you can improve your life and your day or week can run so much better with your routines. You'll get the work-life balance that you deserve. And remember, if you can’t walk, crawl. Whatever you do, just don’t stop. Start small and master one routine at a time. Because trying to shove everything at once will only frustrate you. So pick a few easy ones and do them consistently for a month. After that, you can consider adding up new routines to your day.
Do a one-year challenge to add three new routines every month. One in the morning, one during the day, and one in the evening. Adjust the pace to your preference. You can go slower or faster. But you can never stop.
